At the moment we are having a bad critical situation with respect to the price of food, gasoline, house hold expenses, especially with the electricity and gas.
Last week, there were several strikes one of them was related to public education where teachers, secondary students and university students were involved. Besides there was a general strike of trucks drivers of all Chile, They decided to stop the transport of any goods, including petrol. On the once hang the situation created problems with trade, internal transport, export shipment, on the other hang, the situation of the students created conflict with the government and de education system.
This social discontent is due to the high inflation while the pay of the worker remains the same. The government has enough money to solve that situation, but they are not taking the correct decisions.
In my opinion we will continue having a rise inflation and the final situation for the coming years will be worse.
