Environmental problems

1. Factories, power stations and cars pollute the air; causing acid rain resulting trees are damaged. 2. Industrial waste and sewage is dumped in the sea resulting wildlife is killed 3. Gases from cars and power stations causes “greenhouse effect” make the Earth becomes warmer then there are the climate changes and sea level rises 4. Trees are cut down make species become extinct, increasing “greenhouse effect”. 5. Nuclear accidents make radioactive material escapes into the atmosphere causing cancers 6. Chemicals destroy the ozone layer makes sun causes skin cancer, damages crops 7. Over use of farmland causes desert spreads and farmland is lost

Environmental action: 1. Save electricity; don’t waste it . 2. Recycle glass and paper; don’t throw it away
